So I'm going to try to keep a fitness blog, I'm using tools like
to help me track my goals, help support me in this harsh beginning and just try to be healthier.
I have a real oral fixation so I need to work on curbing appetite and drinking those 8 glasses of water a day!
I bought some simple things like canned fruit BECAUSE fruit ALWAYS goes bad before we eat it all so I need something that won't die so fast, I'll be straining and trying for fresh fruit often but it is my backup.
I'm starting the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I did 20 minutes today and oh boy I was sweating. I know I cheated a bit and had to stop for water and couldn't do all reps toward the end, but I KNOW if I keep at it I'll get harder, better, faster, stronger. :D
Dancing will be incorporated as well, I'll try Zumba when I feel ready for it and I know I want to try kickboxing. We've (my fiance and I) have also been looking into Archery, I've always wanted to learn and I will definitely try when I have the deniro.
so I've been recording my intake for the day and calories burned and so far I have about 200 left. so not bad at all, tracking really makes me want to eat more so I need to be careful.
Oh and I want to try pilates so I'll be looking into that as well. Just need some intro stuff and I'll be better in no time!
I also finally have a scale so I was actually able to weigh myself instead of guess and I was disappointed in the weight I am but you have to start somewhere! I'll be doing my measurements soon and then measuring every week to see if I'm toning.
I think I'll be going for a walk when I can as well, I have a bike but the handlebar is broken and loose and it makes it hard to ride so I need to get it to a bike shop since I can't seem to tighten it enough to fix it.
So yes Day 1 of dieting and exercise is almost complete! I think I'll walk as far as I can get on the bike path.
Tomorrow is day 2 and farmers market! i'll see what freshness I can get ^^
So long!
